<description>My husband and I have been looking for a good blender to make smoothies. We&#039;ve had another cheaper brand that is so-so on smoothies! We&#039;ve been reading and looking into the Blendtec and VitaMix blenders, but decided to give this one a shot after hearing it was a decent blender. Let me just say we took it out of the box the night it arrived and attempted to make a smoothie, which turned out to be an ordeal. Smelled the burning smell immediately and then it froze up. Needless to say, packed it back up and fed-exed it back to the company the next day! Have to pay a restocking fee, but well worth not having to keep this piece of junk.
